Mercury Amateur Radio Association (BC) Net

Mercury Amateur Radio Association (BC) or MARA (BC) is a group of LDS amateur radio operators banded together by need to communicate during a disaster and the aftermath (cleanup).
We are from all parts of the province and are associated with Mercury NW which exists through Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Many of the Mercury BC members are also members of the Mercury NW nets and check in regularly 8:00 AM PST on HF - 3.937 MHz. A large part of the need for the existance of Mercury is to have ongoing training and also to have radio nets. Radio nets help teach us communications protocals to do with how to talk on the radio and also how to pass messages.
